Fremont Drill Team Shoot

Wow! What an incredible shoot this was. I really had such a fun time taking pictures for the Fremont Drill Team. Whitney, one of my brides from last year asked me if I would be interested in shooting pics of her team. She was looking for some non-traditional and on location shooting and wanted both an urban and nature feel to the shoot. The ones below are from the urban part of the shoot and the nature ones as well as team ones will follow...

Also, just wanted to say thanks to all the parents that came out to the shoot and waited in the heat! What beautiful and talented daughters you have. And thanks Whitney for helping organize all this!

Baby Mateo

Welcome baby Mateo! He's now two months old, but I thought I'd post his birth announcement. Shooting newborns is definitely different than shooting a bride, especially if the newborn does not have his diaper on ; ) Many, many, many accidents.

Is he not the cutest baby? We had the announcements printed on soft, linen paper from one of my vendors. They're actually two-sided so the other side becomes a 5x7 print that grandma can frame.

Want to Save Money on a Session?

Lately I've been missing my studio roots from my school days. I never really thought I'd say that because I love working with soft, natural light but...I want to push the edge a little. I want to combine natural light with my studio lights to bring out personalities and create artistic scenes. Ok and I guess I should also mention that the UPS man has been bringing me boxes of goodies and I'm itching to play : )

So, what this means for you...

I will shoot a senior, engagement, and bridal or model shoot at half price. I will choose the location based on your style, personality and my vision and you get beautiful pictures at a beautiful price. Now that's beautiful, aye?

Prices:
Senior Shoot: $175
Engagement/Bridal or Model shoot: $250

Non-refundable deposit due to secure your spot. All digital negatives are included in the price.
I'll only be doing one of each, so contact me soon before they're all gone!

Thank you from Candace & Allen

Oh Candace and Allen, so fun.... I shot her brother's wedding and I was so happy when she contacted me to shoot hers too! I just love her family. They came to her bridal shoot and we had so much fun blinding Candace with a reflector and looking out for bees at the orchard. I've posted some of their pics on my website and the blog will follow...

I just got this thank you from them and thought I would share.
