Darla & Will
Yesterday I had an engagement shoot with Darla & Will. Oh what a night! We all got very dirty, but minus that and me stepping on a branch that pegged Darla in the head and being eaten by a few bugs, all was well...
Oh, I felt so bad...I was getting Darla ready for the next shot--we were if this field of weeds, sticks, rocks and the beautiful, old Chevy truck. I was fixing her hair and getting her situated. Everything was ready but me, so I took a step back to take the picture and bam!! I stepped on this long, firm branch that went straight for Darla's head. It all happened so fast and she didn't have time to move. She started laughing so hard, so I started laughing--but I felt bad. Luckily, she didn't get hurt. It was more starling than anything and the timing was ironic.
Anyway, Darla and Will scored themselves a $50 gift certificate to this home decorating store. We were in need of some people to help us out for the city shot below and the landlord of the store agreed to help us, by walking through the shot and getting others to as well. Well, he wanted to wish them well so he talked the store into giving them a gift certificate. There are so many GOOD people in this world!
Alright, enough of my ramblings...here are a few of their pictures. I hope you enjoy them Darla and Will, the rest will be ready very soon!!
Darla and Will wanted to visit the old Chevy truck. They were daring and ventured inside. Needless to say, their jeans were a little dirty, but these will make for beautiful pictures for their guest sign-in book.

I thought it was almost Spring?
Um, last time I checked it was April? Where are the flowers, the bees, the warm sunshine glowing on my face?
I woke up today, opened up my window awaiting a possible spring day and what? Hail, snow, rain!!
I have Steve and Annie's wedding tomorrow and even if it's cold, there will be warmth!! I'm so excited for this one. The more I get to know Annie, the more excited I get to capture her day! Oh, and she had some amazing bridals/engagements that I'll be posting. Stay tuned...

Another from Erin & John's Wedding
This image tells a story, wouldn't you say?
I try and create/record images that make you take a second look, or think about what's going on. I create images that tell your story and showcase your true personalities.

So, nevermind...
Ignore my other post below...this is my new favorite picture. Celeste you are absolutely amazing!
In this picture, we timed the sun just right--allowing us to fake that it was a beautiful spring/summer day in Utah. In reality, not so much. I tried to remind Celeste that she was warm, even in Hawaii. Ah, whatever it takes to get the picture...
Ok, a few more...

Celeste's Bridals
(so worth laying on the ground for)
What a fun shoot today was with Celeste, my Argentina bride! Poor Celeste was so cold (and not to mention her mom), but you'd never be able to tell from her pictures.
I'm looking at her pics right now and oh my gosh, I had to post this one (more to come). I think it just may be my new fav pic! I admit my favorite does change at least every other day, but for right this second, it's my fav!
I love that it's a thinker....you look at it and you think, you look at it again, and you think some more. Well, maybe it's just me. Also, does this picture not go so well with the Philosophy Photography brand? Hmmmmm?
